 Lunar New Year is considered one of the most important traditional festivals of the Vietnamese people. Annually, in the second half of the first calendar month, Tet is celebrated almost everywhere in Vietnam. Traditionally, it lasts for 3 days. This is the time for family members to gather to offer the lucky Tet greetings to their parents, wish everyone a happy new year and have a reunion feast. Remarkably, the taste and fragrance of Tet foods in all regions can still strongly provoke one's sense of nostalgia for Tet.
