On 27th May 2019, An Giang University held a ceremony to honor Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Phuong - a new Doctorate holder in Tourism and Culture Arts. Attending the ceremony were University Rector Board and respectful lecturers who are heads, deputy heads of the School Divisions.
On the afternoon of 28th May 2019, An Giang University held a farewell ceremony for the volunteer Mia Angele Kataisto. Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dat - the Vice Rector of An Giang University, the board of the External Relations Office, Faculty of Foreign Languages, lecturers and students of the university.
On 20th May 2019, An Giang University cooperated with West Virginia University (the United States) in holding an opening ceremony for the training workshop on Social Work and Community Health Services in 2019. It is the 14th workshop that the two universities cooperate to each other in holding.
On the morning of 23th May 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang - the Rector of An Giang University and the boards of the school divisions welcomed and had a meeting with representatives of Swansea University (the United Kingdom).
This meeting aimed to discuss further contents exchanged in the Rector Vo Van Thang‘s business trip to Swansea University in January 2019.
On 3rd May 2019, An Giang University cooperated with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in holding a training workshop on “Writing Proposals for Research Projects”. The workshop attracted many students and lectures inside and outside An Giang University to attend.
On 23rd April, An Giang University welcomed the delegation of Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Agriculture Technology - Andalas University - Indonesia.
As for Andalas University, there came to the meeting were Prof. Ardi and Dr. Feri Arlius - Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Technology. As for An Giang University, attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Dat - Vice Rector of An Giang University and the boards of school divisions.
On the morning of 22th April, An Giang University held a workshop in “EDUball/BRAINball – Innovative Teaching Method for Educators”.
Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Thang - Rector of An Giang University, lecturers and students in An Giang University along with teachers in primary schools in Long Xuyen City.
On 19th April 2019, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-France Friendship Association cooperated with Institut d’Echanges Culturels avec la France (IDECAF), Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, An Giang University and other provincial units in hosting French Cultural Week in An Giang Province. This activity attracted many lecturers and students in An Giang University to attend.
On 22nd April 2019, An Giang University held a ceremony to honor Ms Nguyen Huu Yen Nhi - a new Doctorate holder in Aquaculture Major, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Attending the ceremony were University Rector Board and respectful lecturers who are heads, deputy heads of the School Divisions.
On 10th April 2019, An Gang University is accepted to be an associate member of Quality Assurance Network of ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance - AUN-QA.
